Yangzhou University is home to 3 researchers included on Elsevier’s list of China’s most cited researchers for 2019, which was released May 7. Professor Liu Xiufan at College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Yang Jianchang at Agricultural College, and Professor Liu Yurong at College of Mathematical Science respectively entered the list in the fields of immunology and microbiology, agriculture and bioscience, control and system engineering.
This is the fifth edition of Elsevier’s annual list of Most Cited Chinese Researchers, recognizing about 2000 researchers in China across 38 different subject areas.
Elsevier is a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services. Developed in collaboration with Shanghai Research Consultancy, who provided the selection criteria, the list draws from the recently-released 2019 Best Chinese University Ranking report that is anchored on Elsevier’s Scopus research database and powered by metrics from SciVal analytics – both part of the Elsevier Research Intelligence portfolio.
In line with China’s continued efforts to establish itself as a leader in the field of international research, the list provides an important platform through which the community of researchers driving this progress can gain greater recognition and exposure.
